1940  On the 25th of April Alfredo James Pacino was born in New York, USA. Later known as Al Pacino, he is considered to be one of the best actors of all time.

1966 Pacino starts taking acting classes at Actors Studio, where he learns from professional actors and where he meets the famous teacher Lee Strasberg.

1972  Pacino gets the role of the gangster Michael Corleone in the Godfather, role that will change his career and bring him fame.

1973 The movie Serpico is released, in which Pacino plays a cop who fights corruption inside the system; the role gets him an Academy Award nomination.

1975 Dog Day Afternoon is realeased, yet another movie that is very well acclaimed and that gets him many nominations.

1983 Pacino plays a gangster in Scarface; the movie has a huge selling success and creates a new gangster trademark for the actor.

1989 His first child Julie Marie is born. Although he never got married, Pacino has children together with actress Beverly D’Angelo too.

1992 He wins his first Oscar for the role in Scent of a Woman.

1997 The Devil's Advocate is released, movie that brings Pacino a SF role.

2003 Al Pacino stars in the play Angels in America, among with Meryl Streep and Emma Thompson.

2007 The Amercian Film Institute gives him an award for the remarcable career.

2014-2015 At more than 70 years old Al Pacino still stars in important movies, some of his most recent roles being the ones in Manglehorn and Danny Collins.
